As it were, fellow auralnauts, the universe is full of stars. Some shine bright, some dim, some dead. Our efforts to unravel the mysteries of being consistently linger. Owlbinos of Northfield's first Romeda Records release is a project that suits/sums up the glimmering/shimmering shards of shared consciousness that float about, above and within our mortal vessels. At just under 6 minutes in length, Cinnamon Fog lives up to its name, creating the illusion of -well- a foggy morning on a pond. Was that the sound of a paddle as it dips into an algae covered surface? Beats me. Speaking of beats, we, the listeners, are treated to interpretations of said opus by Romeda Records label mates Kanal Drei and Glitchefield Plaines, as well as a treatment by one Pete Prescription , who, in my opinion, does a bang up job of extending the psychedelic effects of Cinnamon Fog into the aether. Peter, what did you put into my orange juice, mate? Bravo.
