Getting Ready for the Blues is not exactly complex, all that far out or, in my experience, even terribly representative of the rocking sound of Apache Dropout, but it does tickle the memory. The opiatic shimmer provided is part 80's drift part 70's drive along the industrial coast of an inland river. Certainly it serves a purpose, perhaps as a song for "The Rockford Files" movie circa 2019.
